EQUAL Ltd., a company registered under the laws of the state of Israel, with its place of business at 30 HaBarzel St., Tel Aviv, Israel, and its affiliates (the “Company“, “we“, or “us“) provide certain content through its website at www.equal.eco (the “EQUAL Website“) and collect and analyze certain Personal Information (as defined below) from visitors to the EQUAL Website (“Users“).

We take the protection of your Personal Information seriously. This Privacy Policy (this “Policy“) explains how we collect Personal Information and how we use it. Together with our Terms of Use, available at www.equal.eco/terms-of-use (“Terms“), it governs your use of the EQUAL Website. By using the EQUAL Website or by providing Personal Information (or access to such information), you agree to the terms of this Policy and to the practices described herein and acknowledge that, while you are not required by law to provide your Personal Information to us, by doing so, you agree with the terms and conditions of this Policy.

Personal Information“: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (for example: name, address, I.D. number) or as may otherwise be defined by applicable law;
Location Data“: General information about where the User’s Device is or was located that is derived from the User’s IP address.
Usage Data“: Data which is derived from the use of the EQUAL Website or its infrastructure (for example: the date a page was visited);
Device“: Your smartphone, computer, or other devices from which you connect to the EQUAL Website.
Cookies“: Files stored on your Device which enable tracking of Usage Data from your Device, among other uses.

This Policy describes how we collect, handle and maintain your Personal Information collected through the EQUAL Website. By submitting any Personal Information, you agree to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Policy, including its transfer to and storage on our servers. We will retain your Personal Information and/or Usage Data and/or Location Data for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

We may collect Usage Data and/or Location Data including but not limited to your Device, country, city, region, browser, IP, date of entrance to the EQUAL Website, duration of visit in the EQUAL Website.
If you request information from us, apply for a job, or contact us for any other reason, including through the Contact page or the Careers page of the EQUAL Website, we collect any Personal Information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, CV, and the content of your message.
In most cases, the information we hold about you is collected through the EQUAL Website, but we may also collect information using third-party tools provided by companies with whom we have entered into an arrangement for such collection, such as Google, Facebook or other Internet platforms (“Tools“). Among other details, these Tools may collect Location Data.
We use Cookies and other tracking technologies, which may assist us in collecting Personal Information about you through the EQUAL Website.

Our primary purpose in collecting Personal Information is to provide you with the EQUAL Website and improve your experiences on the EQUAL Website. We may use your Personal Information and/or Usage Data and/or Location Data in order to:

 Contact and communicate with you and respond to your questions and requests.
 Resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems.
 Send you relevant information via email, phone and text messaging (provided you have not opted out of such communications).

We reserve the right to use and disclose in any manner, any non-personal, non-identifiable information including in the form of aggregated data that we collect by use of cookies and traffic data, or that you share with us through the EQUAL Website. In addition, we may share some or all your Personal Information and/ or Usage Data and/or Location Data with:

>> Another business entity, should we plan to merge with, or sell substantially all our assets to that business entity, including during negotiations in advance of such transaction. Should such a merger or acquisition occur, we will require that the new entity shall follow this Policy with respect to your Personal Information.
>> Law enforcement agencies, third-party rights owners or others in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our Terms of Use or Policy; respond to claims made against us; or protect the rights, property or personal safety of our Users or the general public.
>> We reserve the right to use in any manner and disclose any non-personal information that we collect including cookie and traffic data, logs, recordings, and other information related to communication between you and third parties in connection with the EQUAL Website and/or other uses and purposes mentioned herein may be stored, maintained and/or divulged to those third parties by us on an anonymous basis. We will disclose your Personal Information to law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties when there is a legal or regulatory requirement, a subpoena, court order, or substantially similar legal procedure
>> When we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information, including Personal information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss or to report suspected illegal activity.

We retain your Personal Information only for as long as we provide you with our service and for as long as necessary for our legitimate business purposes thereafter. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.

We may store and process your Personal Information or Usage Data through third-party hosting services located in other countries. As a result, we may transfer your Personal Information or Usage Data to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your consent to such transfer.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, the Personal Information we have about you and request that it be corrected or updated.

We communicate with our users in a variety of ways, including but not limited to:

>> Email preferences. We provide all users with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving non-essential (promotional, marketing-related) communications from us. To remove your contact information from the EQUAL Website lists and newsletters, you can either (i) contact our customer service on the EQUAL Website or at info@equal.eco, or (ii) click on the “unsubscribe” link that is included at the bottom of any EQUAL email you receive.

We or our service providers may place cookies or web beacons on your computer or use similar technologies when you visit portions of the EQUAL Website. We use permanent cookies to provide personalized features, such as the delivery of customized content and advertising on third-party websites. We use session cookies, which are deleted when you leave the EQUAL Website, to monitor and improve the functionality and usability of the EQUAL Website. You can block certain of our cookies by changing the settings on your browser (contact your ISP for help) but doing so may prevent us from delivering certain services to you.

EQUAL does not control the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your Personal Information to others. The EQUAL Website has links to other websites that may collect Personal Information about you. Use of such third-party websites is subject to the relevant website’s terms of use and privacy policy. EQUAL is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those linked websites.

We consider data as an asset that must be protected and use various industry-standard security measures to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access and disclosure. However, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications and other users may abuse or misuse your Personal Information collected from the EQUAL Website. Therefore, we cannot promise that your Personal Information or private communications will be completely safe. We shall inform you of any security event which might involve your Personal Information. In addition, any such events shall be properly reported to the relevant authorities.

The EQUAL Website is intended solely for use by persons 18 years of age or older and we do not knowingly collect personal information of persons below the age of 18. If you become aware that someone under the age of 18 has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us.

We may amend this Policy at any time by posting the amended terms on the EQUAL Website. We will provide you with notice of any material changes by posting the amended Policy on the EQUAL Website. Amended terms take effect immediately if accepted by users or ten (10) days after they are posted on EQUAL Website for all other users.
